I feel like life with Multiple Sclerosis - at least for me - is to permanently exist in a liminal space.
I experienced my 1st symptoms 20 years ago this summer, but was running marathons until lockdown.
I still run, swim and row, but I also occasionally walk with a stick.
I can ski black runs, but I'm often too weak to stand up unassisted if I fall.
I’m not on any disease modifying drugs, but I take shit loads of meds to help control my symptoms.
I self-catheterise, but present (mostly) as a normal, healthy guy.
I’m in transit, but never arrive.
Hang in there, ST. Take care, fella.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rol. I’m doing okay, but thanks for checking in. How are you doing??
ReplyDeleteCan't complain. Or if I did, nobody would listen.
