Shuffleathon 2008 - update
Ok - we've been underway for a little while now, and CDs are really starting to hit the postal system. We've got a new review in too - Lisa has reviewed her CD from JamieS. Given that I haven't sent my own CD out yet, I'm not about to get on my high horse to anyone.... but shall we set a nominal target of the end of December for everyone to have made and posted their CD? We can pick up the reviews as and when, but it would be nice to put the first part of the whole thing behind us, eh? I reckon it's okay if you want to take a bit of time over your reviews. After all, it's good to let these things sink in before committing to a judgement, I always find.
Remember: it would be great if you could drop me a line when you send your CD out to let me know it's in the post. Likewise, it would be good if you could let me know when you have received, and then when you have reviewed the CD that you receive. The reviews are, after all, my favourite bit - that's where I get to find out what y'all have been putting onto your discs and what your lucky recipient thinks of them. It's all good.
So. I'm going to burn my CD tonight and aim to get it into the post over the weekend. If you haven't made a start yet, then now's a pretty good time to get the show onto the road....
**Update** Rol's review of The Great Grape Ape's CD is now up too..... definitely a hit, as it's already led to the purchase of at least one album....

Mine remains ready to burn from iTunes. The problem is remembering to buy a CD to burn it to. I absolutely promise to do it next week when I'm back on my feet though.
