didn't we almost have it all?

I've just spent my evening listening to Whitney Houston, Paul Young, Phil Collins, Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson, Chicago and the Spice Girls.

.... just another evening chez Bargs then.

  1. oh shove off. I'm having a bad day/life.

Had you got to the end of the playlist you'd have experienced Delta Goodrum, Will Young, Westlife and Brenda Russell, so it's not *all* bad...

(he doesnt mention the "drugs dont work" or the "no surprises" or the "everything's not lost" here, you notice...)

  2. Now hang on a minute. There comes a time in every man's life when he *has* to sing Paige/Dickinson's 'I Know Him So Well' out loud.

Ok, so first you have to work out who's going to be Elaine and who's going to be Barbara which means deciding who's the butchest and...

...ahem. I, however, have never been there.

Umm... hope you had a good night.

(and 'bonus' track ST? Now Heart 106 has stopped doing its nightly footy phone-in I could probalby get Gary Birtles in to fit my carpets.)

  3. Good grief, that's quite a soundtrack!

Gotta be better than endless Coldplay and Snow Patrol though!

  4. Oh, I love a bit of Paul Young! Perhaps you should add some Nik Kershaw into the mix next time for that real nostalgia thing...

  5. You gotta love the Bargs. I especially like the way he cites Delta Goodrem as a mitigating factor. Adorable.
